Our On-the-Job Training (OJT) program is a unique skill development model that enables migrant youth and workers to upgrade their skills without sacrificing their daily income. Designed primarily for workers employed as helpers, assistants, or support staff in the construction and service sectors, the program creates opportunities for career advancement while participants continue to earn wages.
Typically conducted over 45 days, OJT combines practical workplace learning with structured skill development. Participants receive hands-on training directly at their worksites under the guidance of experienced supervisors and skilled tradespersons. Supervisors are actively engaged in the training process and supported to ensure that workers receive meaningful learning opportunities, exposure to advanced tasks, and continuous feedback on their progress.
This approach is particularly effective for workers employed at large construction sites and long-duration projects, where they can gradually build technical expertise while remaining in productive employment. By learning in real work environments, participants gain industry-relevant skills, improve their productivity, and increase their prospects for better-paying and more skilled roles.
