We support a host of activities designed to enhance the employment potential, confidence, and job readiness of youth. These activities can be integrated with our skilling programs or conducted independently. In today’s job market, core skills such as digital literacy, communication, and interpersonal confidence are essential at all levels, and our placement initiatives incorporate these elements to better prepare participants for success.

Placement readiness programme
The Placement Readiness Program is a 5-7 day module designed for youth seeking private or government job opportunities. It covers basic computer skills, communication (including interviewing), interpersonal abilities, and overall personality development. The program prepares participants for entry-level job selection processes in city-based businesses and establishments. We also connect trainees with potential employers through a common platform, ensuring that only employers adhering to basic standards of decent and dignified work are included.

We offer a range of job linkages and placement services for youth from migration-dependent households and regions.
This aims to bridge the gap between the high demand for work among youth and the ongoing challenges employers face in finding suitable candidates.
Our experience shows that this disconnect often also stems from stagnant wages and poor working conditions, which deter youth from offering long-term engagement. Additionally, the realities of subcontracting and workforce segmentation further distort the labor market.

पोस्ट प्लेसमेंट सहायता
We provide comprehensive post-placement support to youth placed in formal sector jobs, helping them navigate the challenges of city life until they receive their first salary. This includes offering short-term accommodation or covering the first month’s rent, financial assistance for travel, and food supplies. Understanding that the first month can be particularly difficult, we offer guidance to help trainees adjust to their new work environment. By ensuring their basic needs are met, we allow them to focus on their jobs and perform at their best. Additionally, we work on building their self-confidence through workshops and mentoring.
